Guest ScreenGuy Posted November 21, 2005 Report Posted November 21, 2005 (edited) Hi. New to this forum, so I hope I'm posting in the right place (I'm not really sure if my question is device specific or a generic WM5 one...) Anyway, after using my 8310 for a couple of days, getting more and more annoyed over hgow the battery seemed to lose power at an extreme speed, I realized part of why I believed it did was the values at which the "dots" in the battery icon in the top menu disappear. At this moment I don't recall the exact values when the first dots disappear, but right now my battery icon dropped down to 1 dot -- while the task manager (menu-->system info) tells me that the battery is still "High" or 40%. That's a bit early for only one dot, right? In my mind, logic would suggest something like 100-75% -- four dots 75-50% -- three dots 50-25% -- two dots 25-0% -- one dot So, my question: Can the battery levels at which the dots disappear be changed anywhere (in the registry)? /SG.
