Does SP5 work with Virtual Keyboard BlueTooth?

Anybody know if the SP5 could work with one of these?

The supported software lists does not list WM5, but does show Smartphone 2003, and the supported devices list includes these...

QTek 8080

...so I thought somebody clever may have worked out how to get it to work

I tried Virtual bluetooth laser keyboard and SP5m. They work fine together, just install the vkb driver in the phone

After I installed I kept running out of memory on the phone and realised it was caused by an ever increasing (>10MB) log file that the VKBD software was creating, called BTVKBLog2.txt. Did you have this problem?

I couldnt see setting in the software to prevent the file being created?

So I tried installing to the Storage card, but the installation process stops before creating an icon and running the app from the file manager doesnt work.

Did you manage to get it to install to the Storage card successfully?

I had the same problem so i deleted the log file, reopened the VKB application and let it recreate the log file. Then I close the app so that it doesn't build up the log file size and finlly mark the log file as read only. This is a workaround...not perfect but it does stop the logfile increasing in size...mine is now static at 454 bytes.

I've tried it without installing the vkbd drivers & just using the HID bluetooth profile the phone has, which sort of works, except the function key doesnt work, so you can't set the sensitivity or anything...I'll try your way
