Guest alwoodman Posted November 23, 2005 Report Posted November 23, 2005 (edited) Just got my XDA Mini through this morning after it launching on O2 yesturday, just having a fiddle with it but can't seem to get it to connect to my wireless network, it can see it but as soon as i switch on the Wifi it hangs the router....anybody else experiencing problems...in the Review of it on CSP he points out he couldn;t get it to connect to "g" networks but mine is set up with b&g enabled. UPDATE: Had a fiddle round with the router, tried setting it to "b" which when switching on WiFi didn;t cause the router to crash but said it could assign an IP on the phone. don't want to have open security on my router and i'm not sure that would work anyway. RESOLUTION: OK stupid i know but turns out i was entering the wrong Network Key, what with trying to get Caps lock on and using the function button...still quite strange though that it would crash the router on a wrong pass key...Another point to note i suppose i have now switched the router to b&g mode and its working fine :-) UPDATE ON AN UPDATE: its occasionally hanging my router still but not a fraction as bad as before...may be in need of a patch to resolve an issue somewhere in there. The Router is a WGU624 Netgear 108Mbps Any Tips...? Thanks in advance Lee Edited November 24, 2005 by alwoodman

Guest Pondrew Posted November 23, 2005 Report Posted November 23, 2005 Alwoodman. What is the device called on the box and on the device itself? Please please tell me O2 UK didn't see fit to name it the XDA Mini as their website suggests!
