Hi all,

Just got a Imate SP5 and having a problem with connecting the Wifi. Also I am on Vodafone do i need to enter and mms gprs settings as its a brand new sim free mobile. Please help asap.

If you go to the imate website you can download a cab file with the vodaphone settings. I did this the other day my new sp5m.

As for wifi, you need to be more specific. I have no problems using the wifi with a WEP encrypted and a non-encrypted wifi networks. If you can get wifi to work, you can download the vodaphone settings cab and install easily.

try changing your routers name. I had a problem with my wifi, turned out that there was two wireless routers with the same name in the area and the phone wouldnt seperate them.

First you need to register on http://www.clubimate.com/ with your web browser, then using your SP5 login to the same site. Then download from the SP5 device settings page http://www.clubimate.com/t-SP5.aspx

If you download using your phone, use file manager to browse to My Documents and run the cab file you downloaded. This will then install the vodaphone settings for gprs etc.

Wow the webs a great place vodafone support is rubbish. Everything works but how do i connect to a webpage via wifi because when i go on say google the g icon appears i presume im using the gprs. If you could help me on msn im @ [email protected].
