iPod Video Movies

Just got an iPod Video and I would like to watch some of my DVD's on it. I think I need a DVD to AVI ripper. Then I need to convert the AVI file file to .mov so I can watch it on my iPod.

Does anyone know of any free shareware that can help me do this? There seems to be loads of programs on thhe internet but I son't which one to trust. And if anyone knows of any progranm that can convert DVD to iPod playable movies that advice would be great too.

I don't know, but was thinking of buying one and found this forum.

I have noticed today that this has been posted. Haven't read it all though so not sure if it will be of assistance.

Just make sure your DVD's are short enough to watch before the battery runs out :exclaim: :)
