Little Alarm Bell.....I'd like it gone

Anyone find a hack to remove the alarm bell that shows next to the clock when an alarm is pending? It's a good idea....but it ruins homescreens, especially when the text is scaled down.

If the bell scalled down, it may not be that bad. Havn't found anything yet. I guess we'll need to design around it.
