o2 xda mini in stores?

Hey guys,

Just wondering if anyone has seen the xda mini in any of the UK stores yet - I'm interested in this handset and my contract is up with o2 so if I like it and depending whether they can better Web n Walk 200 I'll be sticking with them or getting my PAC and heading for T-Mobile.

But I wanna have a look at one/a display model so I can gauge the size + styling properly, Plymouth doesn't have a T-Mobile store and the nearest is miles away and I had a quick look in the o2 store but couldn't see any - I was short on time so didn't want to ask as I didn't have time to fend off a salesman.

Alternatively any other places stocking these other than the networks direct?

I've tried all the o2 shops near me, none have stock yet.

Also the Carphone Warehouses, but no luck.

I did however find a TMobile store that had their version so you could try that.

Unfortunately it's a 2hr+ train journey for the nearest T-Mobile store, guess I'll have to be patient for o2 to start getting them into stock.

HeHe, excellent - been ages since I've played with scissors and glue.

It's actually pretty close size wise to my Sony Ericsson s700i, slightly wider, same height and it's actually slightly slimmer :D

Spoke to o2 retentions who couldn't come close to matching web 'n' walk 200, they'd only offer 1Mb inclusive GRPS and the rest at £3/Mb, Xda Mini was going to be £159 but she could knock it down to £109 and she could halve the 200 mins/500 txts to £15 for 12 months, so I took my PAC code, certainly not the trying hard to keep customers attitude I've heard of!
