Guest ewel Posted November 26, 2005 Report Posted November 26, 2005 I think the key disappointing feature of Windows Smartphone is the way it handles email. It is sad that the built in software is not able to handle send & receive of the synchronised account or to synchronise multiple accounts, and to synchronise sub-folders. Since sending & receiving email is really not exclusive to smartphones and considering that synchronising email is a basic functionality expected from a smartphone, I am surprised that so little has been posted, written and developed on this issue. The only email application I have found for download and trial is ProfiMail. I am trying it, but so far I am really not enthusiastic. The interface is impractical besides ugly and different. Also, in a full mail app I would really expect to have messages from all accounts in one list, like I have in MS Outlook on the pc. Apparently there also was Sunnysoft MailCenter, but here and there I read that this app did not survive the introduction of Windows Mobile 2003, and can only be used trouble free in WM2002. I can't confirm this because all download locations seem to have disappeared over time. Have I missed some software that is out there? Or is there perhaps some PPC software that would work without issues on a smartphone? More in general, aren't you all jumping up and down to get a solution for this or am I one of the few who think this issue really has to be solved? Cheers, E
