Blue dot - on or off?

Sorry to disturb, but has anyone got a hack to display when the 'blue dot' and 'caps/shift' buttons are on (ie been pressed twice). I know I should remember, but sometimes I walk away from my Vario and forget and end up typing a load of symbols when I come back to it (I can't type and look at the screen at the same time I'm afraid :roll: ).
