MPX220 External Display only MOTO

The Ext LCD is only displaying the MOTO symbol and will not change. It is responsive to contrast changes but not to image changes. This is really frustrating.

I have the 3.46 asian rom. BTW this was working earlier in the day, after a hard reset it no longer works.

Hey you need to make a registry change,

when using a smart phone registry editor go to Current user-> control Panel -> ExternalLCD there is a value called FlipLogo change it from 1 to 0 and then it should work for you after you reset your phone (not hard reset). The Asian rom's typically do this, for what reason I do not know. (Go Tone probably felt you didn't need to make use of an external display other than to show off you have a motorola)

Thanks for the reply. I found out that there is a magnet in the top half of the phone that had come loose and was too far away to activate its switch in the bottom half. Congular tech put it back in and now it works great! Thanks again!
