Guest scottb Posted November 27, 2005 Report Posted November 27, 2005 (edited) First let me say that I like FairDeal. Now on to my story. I purchased Pocket Quicken for PPC via FairDeal. It took a couple of emails to get my registration code--late. First I received a code for Palm OS. I responded to that email and got a new code for PPC. I used that code and it worked. I later received another email telling me to use a third code!?! I did a hard reset the other day and now my PPC code does not work so I am using Pocket Quicken on a 30 day trial. I hope I can get this straightened out before the 30 days is up. I assume this is all due to sloppy handling by Landware and has nothing to do with MoDaCo, but be prepared if you buy something from them. Edited November 27, 2005 by scottb

Guest scottb Posted November 28, 2005 Report Posted November 28, 2005 (edited) Paul, Thanks. After a little reading on their Web site I see it states that activation codes are only good for one week. I need to request a new code for a new install. I requested one today--will see what happens. Thanks again for your offer. Update: They sent me a new activation code, very quickly, and all is well.
