message tones

I don't post very often (2 in 3 years ish) and i only do when i really need a helping hand.

Can anybody explain how to change text message tones on the M2000. Not the inbuilt tones, have figured that out, but where to place personalised sounds etc. Also is it possible to attach individual tones (ring or message) to individual contacts?

This from the Magician but should be the same...

1. Message alerts : Copy the file into My Pocket PC \Windows. Then go to Start, Settings, Sounds & Notifications. Make sure there is a tick in the Programs (& Notifications) box. Hit the Notifications tab. Select 'Messaging: New text etc' in the Event drop-down menu. Make sure there is a tick in the 'Play Sound' box and select your tone from the adjacent drop-down menu.

2. Custom ringtones : Go to Start, Programs, Photo Contacts. Scroll down to your chosen entry. Edit, Assign Ringtone. Looks like you can store the ringtone files anywhere you like !
