qtek 8100 stuck on "headset" :/

hi there :)

i have a bit of annoying problem :/

my qtek 8100 phone has got stuck on the profile "headset" :/

no response when changing profile via the profile plugin, nor via the profiles in the settings menu...

the "funny" thoing tho is that ringtones and messagetones plays from the phones speaker, but i have to plug the headset in to the phone to be able to speak to the person calling, and for that person to hear me :/

and when i unplug the headset, the profile is still stuck on the headset profile :/

anyone that has experienced the same problem?

it may not be phone-specific, the os is WM 2003 Second edition.

rebooting wont help, taking out the battery wont help :/

Tried the 'blowing down the headphone socket' trick ?

Seriously, it works for all Smartphones !

Failing that, try delicately poking in there with something like a cocktail stick. The tiny switch inside is probably stuck.

OK, WOW!

Kudos to the blowing into the socket trick. I was going to throw mine onto the floor in a rage but your method's way cooler-and less expensive.
