Guest zilan01 Posted November 27, 2005 Report Posted November 27, 2005 :) Hi. I am running TomTom mobile 5 on my SPV c500. does anyone know if I can receive the directions via my bluetooth headset ,and if yes, How ? :D
Guest exfatman Posted December 6, 2005 Report Posted December 6, 2005 Zilan, I dont think you can do this mate. Im not 100% sure but i think i read somewhere you cant connect more than 1 BT connection at a time and as the GPS receiver is already connecting to the phone by a BT connection it sort sort of prevents a further BT connection from the Headset. I could be wrong but im sure as i said i read that somewhere that unless you have a device that excepts multiple BT connections your scuppered' EFM.
Guest awarner [MVP] Posted December 6, 2005 Report Posted December 6, 2005 Using an app like Binarys Task Manager you can stop the cdial.exe process, this enables you to keep the bt connection going on the headset and listen to music. Now supposidly this will also work while using TomTom and I have managed it with my C550. When I get time I'll try it on the C500.
Guest zilan01 Posted December 7, 2005 Report Posted December 7, 2005 :) Thanks for the advice, if you do manage to get it working on your c500 please let me know how :D
Guest dculbert Posted December 8, 2005 Report Posted December 8, 2005 Hi, Hope I'm not being blond and have missed the point of this.....I've been using a bt gps reciever and tom tom with a parrot bt handsfree car kit without any problem (well I say any - on one call the pickup button wouldn't work but it still muted stereo etc so bt was working). Would be cool if tom tom could put the instructions through the handsfree kit tho........ I've come to the conclusion I'm never satisfied.......now where that e200 I rigged up as a perpetual energy generator.
