How to disconnect GPRS?

Just wondered if anyone could help me with this...

When I go to check my emails over GPRS on the wizard, the G block symbol turns to a g with two arrows on and a pop up states that the GPRS is connected. When I've finished sending and recieving, the symbol stays the same and doesn't seem to go back to the bolc G that is there normally.

Now, does this mean data is being transferred, or just that the GPRS connection is open to send and recieve data?

If it's the first one I'm screwed as it's been connected quite alot!! Is there anyway to disconnect manually?

Any ideas?

Cheers,

Oli

It only means that the connection remains open.

Assuming the Wizard has one, press and hold the red hangup key :)

I think you can just press on the G symbol with the stylus, and then click on disconnect on the window that popps up.

That's what happens on my Vario, what type of wizard do you have?

If it's a vario you can install the free GPRS monitor off the T-Mobile disk. I have this program installed and leave my GPRS connected all the time. When I'm not on the internet or sending/receiving emails the data counter never goes up so I think you should be fine.

Thanks for that casanova!

I've got a Vario but I've flashed it with the K-Jam ROM so I didn't even open the CD that came with it! Great app though!

Cheers!

Moved to Pocket PC Phone Help & Advice in case this helps others (added to which it isn't specific to Wizard hardware)
