SMT5600 - Music Out: Only OEM Headset?

I have discovered the joys of playing MP3 from my Cingular SMT5600. It appears that the only output for stereo music is the supplied hardwired headset, which is really OK for when I am wlaking around. The functional interface to allow the phone to work when you play music is very nice feature.

What I'd like to know is whether anyone sells an adapter to pipe the music from my SMT5600 to my car via FM transmitter, such as is so common for most every MP3 playing device out there via the standard 2.5 mm jack. The headset jack appears to be proprietary, but is there someone who sells an adapter to get a standard 2.5 mm headphone jack to work with say noise cancelling headsets, etc?

I have tried search on this forum and did not find anything.

All input appreciated!

The jack is easy, as much as I hate radio shack you can go there and get a plug adapter to go from the phones size to whatever size you want. I also have a cassette player in my car, so I use a cassette adapter and plug it into my phone, you have to use an adapter to go between the cassette adapter and the phone. This works almost perfect. In my opinion its much better than using the type of fm modulator that transmits a signal that your radio picks up. There is the type of fm modulator that hardwires into your car for power and has a connector that goes between your antenna feed and your radio. If you intend to keep the car and especially if you don't have a cassette player this would be the best way to go. The plug adapter that you get from radio shack for the phone can be used for any headphones also. Another thing if you get a phone call while plugged into the cassette adapter the conversation will come out over you car speakers, pretty neat.

Another neat thing this phone does is play audible. This is a built in feature of this phone that lets you play audio books sold by audible.com. This is why I bought the phone and is really important to me.
