I ordered an spv c550 from them last Thursday. On website quoted as "in stock". Haven't received it yet. I have emailed twiceand each time got a reply. Both emails were sent way after normal business hours and stated that they were very busy fulfilling special offers.

Delay in my order caused apparently

1. by orange credit check coming back late

2. c550 now out of stock due to heavy demand

I have been assured I will still get it at original offer price ( free 12 mth contract ) although this offer has been superceded by less good deal

I live in hope ! I don't know how it will work out as I had read on the web that they were unreliable but I was prepared to take a chance in the hope of getting this deal.

After I went in a huff with buymobilephones.net, I ordered my S110 from them. No problems at all. Once I received the order I've heard nothing else from them (which is a good thing) and all other dealing have been direct with o2.

thanks for that :)

it says for the SP5 that it will be delivered next day with a new contract.... hopefully i will have no problems

Same here, if it wasn't for it being such a good deal I think I'd go with someone else!

I got my SP5 from phones2udirect. Although the website said it was in stock it wasn't and customer services also told me it was in stock but it wasn't. Anyway, I had to wait a week or so for new stock and got regular email updates on the progress of my order. My shiny new SP5 arrived SIM unlocked on an O2 contract so end result was OK. Cashback will be the next challenge!

I bought my i-mate SP5 from there when the phone was in stock but I had to wait a week as I wanted my number to be transferred from Orange to Vodafone. So overall they've been fine to me :)

Ordered Sp5 on Nov 22nd. Emailed them on 29th & got this reply:

-------------------

Unfortunately they have been delayed again, as i-mate cannot meet demand. The next large shipment is due mid- December now. If you require a phone sooner we do have a limited number of it's slightly higher specified sister model the SP5m's. We also now have the Qtek 8310 available, which is the same HTC unit as the SP5.

-------------------

I pointed out that...

when I called on Nov 22nd they said 7-10 days, and that they had shipments everyday, but the only reason they couldn't guarantee sooner was because they had backorders for the shipments in the first 7-10 days. Now they seem to be saying it's going to be at least a month from the date of order - yet their website still misleading says in stock. I asked how they are aloud to get away with that & how I'm supposed to have any confidence that "mid-December" will either truely be "mid-December" or that they won't just send a similar email in mid-late December, saying "mid-January"?

...no reply

Im was waiting on a SP5 from them aswell. Called them yesterday. Told it could be 2 weeks or so.

They offered to give me the 8310 Qtek as it is in stock.

Im happy enough with this if they get it to me asap...

I too was going to buy my sp5m from phones2udirect until i was put off buy this thread as i needed the phone quickly. Then i looked on expansys where the phone was about £30 more expensive (Sim free handset) and used the 'found this phone cheaper anywhere else' link and they did a price match with phones2udirect simply from me providing the link to theor website! Delivered next day with no worries at all.

I am considering an SP5m on o2 from these guys. What happens after your contract year runs out? Do you get an upgrade??

I went for SP5 from p2udirect, but as others was informed that it wasn't available but could have 8310. Spoke to them and they were very helpful, agreed on 8310 and it arrived at 11:58am the very next day. So I have no complaints with phones2udirect.

So, I got my nice Qtek 8310 and it's all working great. Got it all sorted, internet, email etc..... apart from MMS!!! I've seen lots of posts regarding settings etc. I'm on Vodafone UK, but I have tried EVERYTHING and it still doesn't work. If anybody has got MMS working with a Qtek 8310 on Vodafone UK could you please please please tell me how?!! Thanks!

Thanks for the link to the cab file shadamehr, I'll give that a go. I'm guessing that my 8310 isn't application unlocked though, so any advice on that would be great! Thanks again :)

Unfortunately I bought a phone contract from them and 3 months in I still haven't received the allegedly free Xbox 360 which was promised as part of the deal. This is a shady company. Do not touch it!!! I am trying to get the information online to stop other people falling in this trap.
