dropped my imate sp3 in soda

i accidentally dropped my imate sp3 in a cup filled soda,dont ask how,lol,after i took it out it never turned on anymore,after drying it for while i was able to turn it on again but it freezed and that was it.

any solutions??? :)

Diss-assemble ( see the pinned topics for instructions) and remove the LCD, keypad, aeriel, and camera from the mainboard, and clean using an IPA ( isopropyl alcohol) ultrasonic bath and / or a fibreglass pencil if you can see any corrosion / shorting. If you can't get access to an ultrasonic bath ( cheap ones are £30 or so on ebay) use IPA and a soft toothbrush dipping the mainboard in a cup of IPA. Then re-assemble and test. Don't let it get any worse, do this NOW.

thanks a lot for the info! anyways,its been a day passed already,is it still fixable? i just bought a new qtek 8010,havent recieved it yet but hopefully i can still fix the imate.
