Qtek 8310 Sync with Outlook

Why doesnt my Qtek 8310 (Windows Mobile 5) fully sync my calendar??

It only seems to pick up selective entries.

I am using Activesync 4.1.0 and Outlook 2002

Not so much "some ideas", but more a case of "already posted this issue a couple of weeks ago mate".

So sorry I can't help, but I CAN confirm it happens.

What I had to do was go into Outlook on the PC, open up all the entries that weren't sync'ing, and then "re-save" them.

This somehow 'reset' the id tags so that on next sync, they DID sync.

Bearing in mind that in my case this was TWELVE WEEKS of repeating entries with a uniqie repeat pattern, this took me a fair bit of time I tell you.

Try it as a test though - in Outlook, open up one of the Claendar entries that isn't sync'ing...

Then, amend the time by five minutes or so, and save.

Try a sync and se if it copies over to the phone.

If so, we have found the problem, albeit without knowing the underlying cause.

I had the same problems and frustrations about this. Selective synchronization of appointments and no sync of contacts with picture ID's. For another reason I had to format my C-drive. So doing a complete fresh install of Office and ActiveSync without traces of old versions, and AS is syncing everything. I have absolutely no problems anymore.

I know, format c:/ is harsh, but does seem to solve all AS problems. Just something to keep in mind.
