Guest err Posted November 30, 2005 Report Posted November 30, 2005 I own a QTEK 8130 and I am wondering if anybode knows how to make a call using voice dialing while in headset mode. In other phones that I owned previously it was possible to press a button in the headset controller and say the voice tag. I have tried pressing the talked button, but no luck. Any help would be mostly apreciated :-)

Using a Jabra BT800 blue tooth headset I even only need to press the "answer call" key on my headset to do voice dialing. Works pretty fine, even if phone keys are locked.

The problem is that sometimes I still prefer using the "wired" headset and that option doesn't seem to be there :D But it is a great phone anyway :)

Is there some more info about this? I want to use the TALK button for voice dialing as well.
Guest Krille Posted January 5, 2006 Report Posted January 5, 2006 I want to use the TALK button for voice dialing as well. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Usually you have to press and hold the talk button of your headset. (The headset has to match the phone anyway. So not all headsets will do.)
Guest richair Posted February 4, 2006 Report Posted February 4, 2006 No matter how long I push the TALK button, it won't start voice dial. Mind you, this is the standard wired headset delivered with my 8310. Was pretty disappointed about this.

This is strange. I was sure it would as all good phones (should) do. So I quickly ckecked my old C500 and it wont do also, as any combintion of their headsets. At least my Siemens SL1 does it the way one could expect. Im sorry for the wrong information. No PTT with "wired" Headsets.
Guest finsmaniac02 Posted February 9, 2006 Report Posted February 9, 2006 I also notcied that you could not voice dial with a wired headset by using the push button with my 2125. I would LOVE a wired headset that uses the usb mini jack, that could maybe voice dial, but also skip songs and stuff for mp3 playing, as opposed to having to pull my phone out of my pocket and its case and use that. Anyone know if anything like this is out there?
