good find SPLATT

A couple of words of warning,

1) The ca doesnt create a shortcut to the start menu, you have to do that yourself

2) It isnt seeing any of my movies on my SD card, so I'll have a play and let you know what you need to do to open one

emblaze is Oranges answer to Media Player, which in theory should alow us to play .mpg files as opposed to having to convert files to WMA

I copied it across to the Temp folder on the SPV then used All Explorer to run it. It installed a short cut on the second page of my program lists, called Orange Media.

The emblaze player was part of the origional

Swiss download that was posted before christmas.

As a note I never found anything to play on it, but I did not look too hard though

I simply downloaded it put in on my SD Card usin ActiveSync, took card out put in back in, autoruns and there it is Emblaze ready to install.

I installed it to my SD Card instead of the phone, still works. ;)

But it doesn't see any of my video or audio files, anyone figured where u have to put them so it can see em?

I havent installed it (yet) but waaaaay back in the beginning of web casts there was an Israeli company called GEO (Emblaze) that used thier own codec and Java players to allow streamed video on the net. I believe they also were involved with hardware decoders for mobile video phones.

Sounds like a pretty useless player to me.. Still, downloaded for future reference. thx
