Increasing the email checking delay

On my new shiny M1500 i have set up my email IMAP account and it works almost perfectly except i cannot increase the checking time beyond 60 minutes.

I only want it to do this a couple of times a day, like my old (and increasingly) missed C500.

I used to have the choice of 15 mins, hourly, every four hours , once a day etc, but not on these new units.

Is there any way to increase this time in the registry or whatever?

It's costing me a fortune

also, i cannot get this phone to save items in the sent folder, so i loose all my outgoing mail unless is send myself a copy

I could never get that to work on IMAP. Sucks, I like to keep a copy as well. I just don't think it's possible on the phone. You could have your SMTP server itself save a copy somewhere, but that would be hard to set up. It works on "Outlook Mail", but that's not much use for most peoples needs.

Hopefully someone can come through with the registry edit. If they don't, set it to a known value then search the registry for keys that have that value. Might not work though as e.g. it may save "15 min" as 15x60 seconds.
