calendar query

for some reason, when I press the soft key on the today screen for calendar, it always opens up the program in 'year' view..... on every other unit I have used it always remembers the last view you looked at (i prefer the 'day' view)

I have tried on my jasjar and it remembers last viewed, but my mda vario simply defaults to 'year' view every time

any ideas? is it tmobile rom related?

My KJAM seems to remember, although i dont use the softkey any more (rebound it to messaging)

sorted it!

using Tweaks2k to remap the soft buttons, it showed that in the Tmobile rom, the soft shortcut for calendar points to HTCCalendar.exe and not Calendar.exe

changed it over and all is now well

Hmm

So does this mean we can make different shortcuts to the calendar to automatically open specific views? Why would HTCCalendar.exe be different to Calendar.exe?

I haven't got Tweaks2K to try (actually no idea what it is)
