Guest davidwigan Posted November 30, 2005 Report Posted November 30, 2005 Hi I have a tmobile SDA II And when I am installing animated home screen, they do not work correctly I think the cause the is sda 2 has a higher display rate like 240x320 pixels can anyone let me know how to modify the home screens? I think this would also affect the 550?
Guest gpcarreon (MVP) Posted December 1, 2005 Report Posted December 1, 2005 Hi there. If you are referring to madbeetle animated homescreens... That is an expected occurence. Reason being most of the animated homescreens around were intended for the non-QVGA phones (176x220). Expect plugin misalignments, erroneous animations on 240x320 devices. So what's the solution? Wait for QVGA-compatible animated homescreens or create one. Here is a guide which will be posted soon here at the forum: http://www.gpcarreon.com/?p=152 By the way, the madbeetle animated homescreen works on QVGA device like the C550. You need major adjustments though as the screen size is way different from what we got used to (176x220): http://www.gpcarreon.com/?p=153 Start from the beginning, redo everything in Photoshop and GIF animator, re-adjust and re-calculate plugin heights to fit the QVGA screen...that's what I meant by major adjustments. :)
