What would you buy if you were me?

HI

I'm looking for some friendly advice on where to go next with my phone. :D

I have an SPVC500 ( which I have loved) but it is locking up all over the place, so may have to go. I am now with O2 but can't really work my way around their offerings.

So, my questions are..

what should I go for?

what would you go for?

are the other offerings better than the orange SPV stuff ( sorry this is the first time I've branched out)

any help and direction appreciated. I don't spend loads of time surfing, I love my phone because it means I have dispensed with paper diaries and have email with me .

thank in advance :)

i loved the size of my c500 but hated it crashing all the time, was even a worse phone than my e200 was.. which is why i left and went to a normal nokia phone again and a ipaq, now im coming back again with a imate kjam which i hope to have in the next few days, expansys permitting

so either something like the kjam or back to a normal phone :)(

Well depends really. If you want to go for another smart phone then stay with Orange and either get the c550 or wait a bit for the c600!

If you want to try a PPC style phone then there are lots of options. If you want a small factor the m500 is just as small as your c500. Other PPC's may be bigger but include such features as WiFi and Pocket Excel and Pocket Word.

Just check some devices you like the look of in your local Orange O2 or T-Mobile shop

thanks for all your help everyone. Brian ... does the S110 have the features of the spvc500.??

and if I went vario would I need to do the unlocking thing? having just ported my number to O2 ( who really are the only ones here with any sort of coverage) I can't really go changing providers.

thanks

:)
