Earlier o2 xphone2 different from the new ones

:??: I just saw the new comer xphone2 different look with the earlier ones (the battery indicator and the signal strength indicator were displayed in 3D). What are the different between them, the OS or any themes that already installed into the new one?

Moved to HTC Typhoon section (the Xphone2 is an HTC Feeler based on the Typhoon platform).

Can you link to pictures displaying the difference? Because I'm not aware of any changes/rereleases.
