What's my C500 doing ?

Hello folks

My C500 is plugged into my PC with the std cable and its saying on the screen...

Error - unable to place call ?

There's a small g to the right of the battery.

ANy help / advise would be fab

Your phone is trying to connect to the internet using your PC's connection. This is a handy feature for saving GPRS charges on your phone bill.

What you need to do is stop any program on the phone that is looking for an internet connection - Internet Explorer or possibly Messaging is wanting to automatically download emails.

Also look in Settings, Data Connections and check that Internet is set to Orange GPRS. Automatic or Pass Through are the settings for using the PC.
