Guest Spen Posted December 1, 2005 Report Posted December 1, 2005 Hi all, Just moved to Windows Mobile 5 from Smartphone 2003. Stupidly I installed the Smartphone version of Fizz Traveller 2 on my Vario. I have tried remove it using Remove Programs which did remove the item from the list but didn't actually remove the program. Should I just manually delete all the files? Is some sort of reset the answer? Only had a week so wouldn't loose that much. Is there a nice way to remove it? Many thanks $pen
Guest fraser Posted December 2, 2005 Report Posted December 2, 2005 Sounds like the "nice way" is broke! Best bet would be to just remove the files, though what I normally also do is search the registry for the product name and/or the install directory, and remove anything to do with it. I do this on the PC regularly. Usually these old entries don't cause any problems, but sometimes they have an auto-start or file association that you'll want to get rid of. Be aware however that messing in the registy is always dangerous; especially when you are deleting things.
