Guest rasncain Posted December 1, 2005 Report Posted December 1, 2005 I just got a SMT 5600 and when I get an incoming call there is this stupid picture of a cartoonish cell phone with wings and some orange and yellow flashing background. I know I can assign a photo to a contact and when I do I dont see that stupid picture I just described, but I dont want to have to do this for all contacts. So the question is can you change this picture? Remove it or assign a different picture or something?
Guest rasncain Posted December 1, 2005 Report Posted December 1, 2005 OK I resolved it. Apparently I am just stupid. You open the "Photo Contacts" application, and then go to Menu - Options - Set Default Photos and you can unassign the photos there or assign some other photo.
Guest Lobojpm Posted December 1, 2005 Report Posted December 1, 2005 Thanks guys -- But on my mpx220 (1.47 ROM), I don't seem to have the "Photo Contacts" application. Instead, I have to go to PhotoAlbum, then "View Photo Contacts" ... and I don't see an option to change the default in there. I'll attach a screen shot of the graphic that comes up when a call comes in that doesn't have a photo ID... Very tired of that blue man graphic. There's got to be a registry edit or some way to change that? See what you guys think... -Lobo
Guest gizmo2000 Posted December 6, 2005 Report Posted December 6, 2005 I got a SMT 5600 too.. i i got this problem that each time i take my phone off my belt case, the "accept" or "reject" buttons are accidentally pressed.. Does anyone have an idea how i could remap the "accept" and "reject" button anywhere else than the softkeys ? Otherwise, is there a way to disable the "reject" button ? Thanks
Guest rasncain Posted December 6, 2005 Report Posted December 6, 2005 For the record, I have not resolved this after all. Once I reboot the phone (SMT 5600) the Caller ID pics go back to default and are assigned to those crappy pics. Anyone with a solution please post, dying to get rid of those ugly childish pics.
Guest msiler Posted December 22, 2005 Report Posted December 22, 2005 Looking to resolve the same issue...
Guest w411y Posted December 22, 2005 Report Posted December 22, 2005 In the registry there is a value of :Callalert which I believe is this screen. I will look into it a litle later and report back
Guest Nimble Posted December 24, 2005 Report Posted December 24, 2005 I'm very interested in this too.....Like stated above, the default incoming screen is pretty cheesy
