is it possible to change mda vario from 802.11b to 802.11g

when i get connected to wifi, internet is very slow, is that normal or can you speed up ur connection?

802.11b should be faster than yor internet connection so using 802.11b or 802.11g should be the same speed if its just for internet use. when it comes to file shareing 802.11g will be faster.

In theory that makes sense, but I'm not seeing it in practice. I've got 802.11b myself, but when I copy e.g. an music album onto the phone, it takes way longer than it would take to copy it to my laptop over the same WiFi connection. Seems as though the phone has a bottleneck elsewhere that's slowing things down.

Yes it's possible. You need to flash the ROM as a Qtek 9100 or i-mate K-Jam. The T-Mobile version of the Wizard ROM had 802.11g disabled (as does the O2 XDA mini s version).
