T-Mobile T-Zones Content Lock

Hi all,

I've noticed something weird with IE...

Sometimes when looking at a site, i.e a torrent dl site to get a tracker to use with Winmobile Torrent, or something that could be considered adult (no not a bit of blue  ), as my results come up I get redirected to TZones and a content lock page saying the page is for over 18s and I must register a credit card to use!

WTF! Anyone else getting this? Seems veeery odd to me... hope i'm just been a little cautious as surley Tmobile have my ccard details?

T-Mobile lock all content that they deem as of an adult nature. Including betting sites and the national lottery site. You are correct that you have to use your credit card to verify who you are. They charge £2 to your card but then do an instant £2 refund so it doesn't actually cost you anything. Just a bit of an annoyance.

Or just call 150 and they do it. Though you need to agree not to let anyone udner 18 use the phone without having it turned back on.

Happened to me.. Just trying to check the status of the messenger service as I couldn't sign in!

Can you not disable the lock through 'My T-Mobile' on the website?
