Guest jmstriegel Posted December 19, 2005 Report Posted December 19, 2005 Earlier this year MoDaCo announced the release of a very beta version of PhotoPlug. I received such positive feedback that I went ahead with finishing a more polished version for 2002, 2003, and 2005 (including QVGA) Smartphones. PhotoPlug is a home screen plugin for Windows Mobile Smartphones that allows your phone to display your photo album on your device's home screen. It also makes it convenient to take pictures with your camera phone by linking the action button with your phone's camera application. Here's a screengrab from my phone You guys might remember the wicked themes Kleinweder made with the beta version. Hopefully I can convince (beg) him to do some more :) Here's a quick list of the new features - adjustable slide show speed - configuration program in start menu allows settings to be adjusted - can read from 'my documents', sdcard, or a custom path of your choice - works with 2005 phones (QVGA layout included) - 2002 version for die-hards with older phones - faster performance and smaller memory footprint Finally, the application is M2M signed, so this should install on almost any WM Smartphone! Go check it out over at smartphone.net.
