Guest writesimon Posted December 3, 2005 Report Posted December 3, 2005 Hi folks Just wondering if anyone can help me. is there any way to properly lock the keypad on this phone? At the moment I go to start/settings/password. The problem is that - even in this mode - sometimes pressing the green call button or the address book button can access these functions, so I've still been calling people from my pocket. Many thanks for any advice you can give! Simon
Guest Disco Stu Posted December 3, 2005 Report Posted December 3, 2005 Welcome to the forum :) May I heartily recommend ScreenGuard - assign it to a hardware button (or start menu shortcut) and assign a dual-key code to unlock. Their phoneAlarm Today plugin is also rocking ! 8) http://www.pocketmax.net/index.html
Guest marksurry Posted December 3, 2005 Report Posted December 3, 2005 I use the power button to lock the keys on my M500. Press is once to shut the screen down and lock the buttons. You can still receive calls and messages as well as alerts. To bring it back to life, press the power button again. This seems to work fine on mine.
