SMART Orange?

Hi -

I posted a similar topic in the HTC Tanager section but have a more general question.

I just purchased a SMART version of the e100 and Im using it unlocked with SMART Rom version 1.3.6.7 in the US.

I have read many posts on many sites and have come to the following conclusions:

I can't use the latest SMART Rom because it will relock my phone forever.

I can't find any Imate or Qtek Roms to use (Read many posts that said they were best).

Correct me if Im wrong...please! :?:

So someone please tell me can I use the current Orange Rom in my SMART phone and if I do will it remain SIM unlocked, and since its not a Orange phone can I APP. de-certify it and how do I using a non Orange sim on a US network that has not enabled GPRS on their network??? :roll:

Or do I leave it as-is since the good roms no longer exist unless someone here can get me one... :)

Let me ask this in a different way........................

1.) Is it possible to use an Orange Rom Update on a SMART Amazing Phone???

2.) Is it possible to de-certify a non-Orange phone that would have an Orange Rom???

3.) If I am on a US network can I de-certify a phone???

If anyone knows the answer.... Thanks in advance!!!

It really is sad that out of 2 different posts and a total of more than 200 views Nobody responded to either thread I posted but myself.... Oh well can't expect the red carpet treatment everywhere :)
