Mpx220 & Asian ROM

OK, this is a few newbie questions...

Based on reading here and elsewhere, I installed the asian 3.46 rom upgrade. I followed all of the instructions on Omega's web page and everything seems to be working with a couple of exceptions:

1) When I go to messages, I have Outlook and MultiMedia but no SMS & when someone sends me an SMS message, I dont get it. - How do I send/receive SMS messages? I have checked and my SMS phone number is correct - it just seems as though the option is gone

2) Even though I dont have any voicemail, outlook email, or multimedia messages, the message icon is always on - how can I reset it? (I releaize this may be a function of question 1 - that I have some SMS messages on the phone which I cannot get ot...)

3) My phone always shows as roaming now, even when I am in my home network... How do I turn that off?

4) How do I set the phone to use iTap? I cant seem to find it as an option anywhere.
