Guest bibi1822 Posted December 4, 2005 Report Posted December 4, 2005 My Phonebook for my WM 2003 smartphone can only use numerical input (123) to find the contact which is totally useless to do so. Can anyone tell me how to change to other input method such as the T9english or the ABC to find my contacts?
Guest SinisterJunkie Posted December 4, 2005 Report Posted December 4, 2005 There are two ways to get to your contacts. If you start dialing a number your contact list will narrow down the possibilities as you dial. Not real useful but there none the less. The best way is open the contact application, which should normally be the right soft key, but can always be found under the start menu. The contact search uses T9 to perdict what you are spelling. So If you are looking for John Smith, 76484 would get you smith, but you probably would only need the first two or three to get it narrowed down to a pretty small list. I also use SmartphoneFind for some additional search options like finding all contact from a particular company.
