Can a cab file be extracred from a PC setup file?

Now Ive got a wifi card for my M500 I can download new programs directly to my phone but most of the time only the PC setup file is available.

is there any method or program for the pocket PC that I can use So I dont have to turn on the computer and Install it over activsync?

you can try extracting it with winzip from the exe on the PC..... or you could try one of the pocket PC zip tools and do it there

dont think its going to be possable unless someone has an Emulator for PPC so you can run PC apps

But afak there isnt one :)

I have the same problem, i am on a Mac ans dont have a Windows PC, so if i want to install programs i'm gonna have to just transfer the install file via Bluetooth or Wi-Fi.

The first two programs i downloaded (VNC and Quake) and .exe files so there is nothing i can do with them.
