MSN Messenger and GPRS traffic

If I leave MSN Messenger signed-in, what sort of traffic is going on between the phone and MSN's servers? i.e. will I get a huge data bill even if I'm not chatting but am signed-in?

Use this and find out for yourself.. I bet you'll get lots of conflicting answers if you rely on other peoples opinion.
