Guest atonks Posted December 4, 2005 Report Posted December 4, 2005 Hi, I've got a Vario on T-Mobile. I'm very pleased with it :) But..... I can't send MMS messages. There doesn't seem to be an application associated with MMS. I can select a picture to send via MMS, but when I do that nothing happens. Under messaging, there's an option to 'Configure MMS' but I have no idea what the settings should be, and without an MMS application there's not much point. I've tried calling T-Mobile, and their technical dept were going to call me back, but I'm still waiting. Anybody got any ideas? Could the application be hiding in there somewhere? I'm baffled, but as I've got a few free MMS available I'd like to get it sorted. Thanks in advance, Andy
Guest bennish Posted December 4, 2005 Report Posted December 4, 2005 ah. I had this same problem, and pondrew would be the first to admonish you for it :) It sounds like you didn't install the extended rom? The MMS app should be in there...

Guest bennish Posted December 4, 2005 Report Posted December 4, 2005 not necessarily. depending on your rom, take a look around here or google and see if you can find a list of what's in there (i think there's one in the wizard section here). all you have to do is find the cab installer for the mms and run it. should let u avoid a hard reset. :)

Guest atonks Posted December 5, 2005 Report Posted December 5, 2005 Thanks for the help guys. I've installed the extended ROM now, and MMS application is there now. It's changed the menus a bit (and changed the colour scheme to T-Mobile pink, but that soon went!) but I didn't have to hard reset or lose applications or data.
