Help maybe with a couple of niggles on c500

Hi Forum,

i have a couple of niggley things on my c500 that are driving me nuts. I mistaken was trying to delete the old Orange 123 voicemail speeddial on my c500 and succeded in doing that. My plan was to then create a 901 speed dial in its place on the #1 speed dial key. Problem is having done this i cannot now create a speed dial on one at all. The phone says its reserved still. I went into PHH register on the phone and the number in the string is set to 901 and all other details are correct but when I resume from the main menu no matter how long I hold down the #1 key nothing happens.

q. does anybody please know how to resolve this problem.

Secondly for some reason I suddenly have lost the option of turning the sound up and down on the side of the phone. Dont know why exactly as I have not done anything major to the phone and have not installed in any major home screen apps. My question again is the same as the former.

I have done alot of searching here and on google and only came up with a registry hack as mentioned above but this appears not to have done anything.

Can anyone help me please..

With regards to Q2. This could be a hardware fault or a fault in the registry.

I am not an editor of registry so cannot help try fix the problem but a hard reset will work (presuming that the fault is in the registry) However you do lose everything saved on the phone and it returns to factory settings

Exactly the same problem, Reset is the only way I found around it. Trouble is..you have to re load the updated rom as far as I have read.
