*Fix* Backlight goes off after 60 seconds...

HI all

On the C600, the backlight goes off after 60 seconds. You can't change it in the settings-menu, all you can change there is the "half-dimming"-setting where the screen is dimming to half the brightness, but it is still on for 60 seconds!

That's quite using the battery power so I have created a small application which is solving this...

Just unzip the attached ZIP, copy both files to your Smartphone and run it!

Enjoy!

My Qtek 8310 blanks the screen after about 10 seconds by default.

Hi Dumdidum,

Thanks for the tool. :)

I have just upgraded to the C600 from the C500.

On the C500 I used to leave the display on forever, but turn the backlight off after, say, 20 secs. You could still see what's on the screen in a bright room but used very little battery as the backlight was off. This was useful as you could check the data on your homescreen without touching the phone.

Is this possible on the C600?

With your app, the second time turns the display completely off. Could you add three timers:

1) Backlight dim

2) Backlight off

3) Display off

Many thanks,

Steve

Is there any solution for this problem ?

Or is there a possibility in the registry to turn the backlight off ?
