Guest DevinMcMahon Posted December 5, 2005 Report Posted December 5, 2005 (edited) I really like alot of the Homescreens on here, and I even bought Ruttensoft because it is so easy and elegant. However, for the longest time I used the standard Windows Homescreen (I have an Audiovox SMT5600) and when I had voicemail, it would add it to my screen, like the calendar and messaging plugins. I really miss it when I dont have it. How can I get that to work on some of the homescreens in here - do I just have to edit the xml file? Why is this plugin not available on Ruttensoft? I almost forgot, it also shows Missed Calls, without going to a separate screen. Is it possible these are plug-ins provided by the carrier, and that is why Ruttensoft doesnt have them? Any help would be appreciated Thanks Edited December 5, 2005 by DevinMcMahon
Guest berish Posted January 3, 2006 Report Posted January 3, 2006 i cant help you as far as ruttensoft is concerned, but it is relatively simple to add the voicemail and missed calls plug-ins to your homescreen, if you are brave enough to edit it. just fire up notepad, open the xml file for the default screen, find the lines that control the voicemail and missed calls plugs and copy those into your homescreen. keep in mind that the order that you place the text dictates the order in which it appears on the screen. you will also likely have to change things such as the font color and size. good luck!
