Guest Posted December 5, 2005 Report Posted December 5, 2005 In terms of IE Bookmark Management WM5 for Smartphone is definitely superior to WM5 for PPC !!! With the prior I can edit IE Bookmarks, whereas this is NOT AT ALL possible with the latter. HOW ONLY COME ??? +++ I did not find this topic ever discussed in here, if I am wrong could anyone pls post a link to this thread ? Definitely the ability to surf in the internet while being away from home makes a Smartphone so cute (I can make voice calls also with my very old mobile phones I still have in the drawer). I was simply confused to find the unavailability of IE Bookmark Management on my brand new Qtek 9000 (which I received last week), while I had been positively surprised by the Bookmark Management of the Qtek 8300 Smartphone back in August. Editing IE Bookmarks on the Qtek 9000 (and surely on any WM5 Pocket PC) is quite difficult, whereas it is extremely easy on its Smartphone "counterpart". Does Microsoft think it is not necessary to edit IE Bookmarks on a Pocket PC ? Or was that "feature" (intentionally ?) left over from previous Pocket PC OS ? What do others think of that ?
