Right soft key for SMS

Hy,

can someone please help me. I've been trying to manauly tweak my phone SP5 in registry so that my right soft key would be a "new SMS" key. But all I managed to do is when I press that key it opens Messaging. I then have to go to Text Messages and then press "New". How can I get the right soft key to do all that? :?:
