Guest w411y Posted December 6, 2005 Report Posted December 6, 2005 parents are in usa and looking for my xmas psp! so my Q is, will i be able to play uk games on it?
Guest neo89 Posted December 7, 2005 Report Posted December 7, 2005 yes, PSP games are not regional, like the DVD's, e.g. 1,2,3,etc..., The Only Problem is that the American PSP is the UMD films you can get on them. If Your get your PSP from America, it will only be able to play American UMD Movies! Also i have heard that SONY have Put regions on there WiFi, so American PSP will not be able to play against UK PSPs! Stink!!!! ](*,)
Guest w411y Posted December 7, 2005 Report Posted December 7, 2005 So UK games WILL work although UMDs WILL NOT (not too bothered didnt want it for films) And i wont be able to play a friend who has a PSP in multiplayer? Will i be able to connect to my home WiFi and play online still?
Guest w411y Posted December 7, 2005 Report Posted December 7, 2005 Thats OK thanks for ya help :) So anyone know if I will be able to use a USA bought PSP to play online through my house WiFi in the UK and play multiplayer with friends who have UK PSPs?
Guest timmillwood Posted December 8, 2005 Report Posted December 8, 2005 i have a PSP from Japan (white one) I connects to my Wi-Fi network although not to UK PSPs, conects to Japanese PSPs havent tried US ones. Games are not region locked although films are. UK and Japan are Region 2 so you can play UK films on Japan PSPs and other way around. But US PSPs wont work with UK Films
