Qtek 8100

I tried searching forums for Qtek 8100 or just the "word" 8100 but no results came up, im about to buy this phone since it seems to be a bit like the C550.

Could someone tell me the pros and cons by it?

I chose to buy it cause it had lots of new stuff the E200 didnt have. Like FM Radio, JAVA, WMP10 and all in all Windows Mobile 2003SE and the 200mhz processor. So I think it kinda beats my E200 in lots of ways... or am I wrong?

I've had/have an E200 (Qtek 8080) and am now using the Qtek 8100 (SDA Music) and here's what I can tell you

First of all, the 8100 DOES NOT have an FM-radio... it does have the rest you mentioned though. The difference in speed, screen, bluetooth is huge. I do think the buttons are a bit small though.

Also, you compare it to the C550, remember that the C550 has a higher resolution on the screen while the 8100 still use the same as the Qtek 8080... a closer equivalent to the C550 would be the Qtek 8310 with the 8310 having WLAN...

NO FM-Radio? I am very disappointed... :roll:

Though atleast if the bluetooth is just bit bettter my Jabra Bt250v might even work on it.. :)

Anyways I lived with radio on the E200 and I cant miss something that never had been there :D

Oh and a last question: Batterytime.. Does it really hold for 8 hours long and 4 days standby? Or does it suck like any other Smartphone with only 3 H and MAX 24 hours standby?

And lastly, the usermanual always says; charge phone in 12-24hours (dont remember exactly) but it only takes phone 3hours to charge, do I really need to wait these XXX numbers or hours?
