Battery problems

Hi guys

All of a sudden my MPx220 started draining battery as it never did before, for no aparent reason... My battery now hardly lasts one day.. I have to recharge it every night, and I didn't use to do that before... I tried full charging it and reflashing it, full charging it and doing a Master Reset but neither seemed to work.. And pretty soon i'm going to travel so I need my phone for at least one and a half day...

What else can I do to try to solve this instead of buying a new battery??

Did you install anything recently? Perhaps an application that runs and uses some cpu power therefore draining battery?

One of the possible reasons for the battery drain - the phone 'searches' for the best band connection. This setting is 'automatic' by default.

You might want to try changing the band settings to your provider's standard band.

Go Start\Settings\More\More\Phone Settings and change the preferred band from 'automatic' to your provider's preferred band; eg I'm with Cingular so I chose 850/1900.
