Guest matpj Posted December 8, 2005 Report Posted December 8, 2005 Hi all, is pairing with a device the same thing as adding it to your device list? When I connected for the first time to my GPS receiver, it asked me if I wanted to make a serial port something or other.. now, if I delete it from my devices list and re-add it - it doesn;t ask me the same thing. Also, I downloaded Bluetooth tools and now when I try to add the GPS and put in its 0000 passkey, it doesn't like it (if outbound COM5 is selected) if I deselect outbound COM5 it accepts the passkey..
Guest PayableOnDeath Posted December 8, 2005 Report Posted December 8, 2005 What os you running? WM5 - when you deleted it did you also delete it from the Com ports list? WM2k3 - Not sure about bluetooth on that :)
