SPV C550 SMS Delivery Receipt on O2

Guys need your help on this one, I have moved from Orange to UK O2 and I have managed to reconfigure the MMS and Internet settings, but one thing I have got a problem with and that’s SMS delivery receipts. It was automatically switched on when I was with Orange, but now I’m with UK O2 I have to put *0# at the start of each SMS. Is there a reg setting that I can tweak so that I don’t have to do this for each SMS?
