Free Software for XDa mini S

Hi, I've tried downloading some software for my xda, what exactly cna I expect run on this Mobile 5 os, can pocket pc apps work, most so far don't seem to?

Can anyone reccomend a good resource for some free stuff, I'm currently looking for something which wil create shortcuts on the today page, and also I want a button config app, as I really want the button above the answer call one to be my start button.

Try http://www.freewareppc.com/ this seems to have quite a lot of software for PPC & with regards to what proggies you can run Ive found that Trial & error was the best to find out if something would run.

Also, this is just a 15 day trial but I have found this to be the best Today Plugin so yuo can re-arrange icons, etc. I am stilll in 2 minds whether to buy or not but i probably will > http://www.spbsoftwarehouse.com/products/pocketplus/?en

Have you tried Wisbar Advance 2 and Wisbar Advance Desktop? They do almost all the things SPB Pocket Plus does but are cheaper. I've been evaluating Pocket Plus for the last week and plumped for Wisbar Advance 2 because it cost me $6.99 with a discount available to licensees of Pocket Breeze compared with $24.99 for Pocket Plus. Admittedly Pocket Breeze cost me $14.95 but I find I use it all the time.
